Finding a gem on the highstreet (drugstore) is one of the best things in life (call me sad). One of my favourite budget mascaras is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. This was until I discovered it had a sister. The Maybelline Lash Sensational Luscious Mascara*.
The main difference between this and the original is the wand. The newer wand is tapered so that you can get volume and thickness with the thicker end and get right into the hard to reach lashes with the tip of the wand. The formula has also had a bit of a change. It's infused with oil, making it glide onto the lashes and really hold the curl. I've heard people say how it's far too wet which makes it difficult to work with but I think it makes it easier. It can feel a little bit wet for a moment until it dries down a little, but once it's dried it literally does not move. I feel as though it's blacker than a lot of other mascaras I own, and although it's not marketed as a waterproof mascara, I would definitely class it as one. It's seriously a bugger to remove but I love that. See below for how it makes my lashes look after one coat...
Look at the difference! For £7.99, I think it's a great find and one you definitely need to try!
