Spring Everyday Makeup Menu

It's #SpringWeek Day 3 - Today I'm talking you through my Spring everyday makeup. As ever, I'm opting for a dewy base with a light contour (some days), champagne eyes and fresh pink cheeks and lips...

My skins been feeling and looking a bit lackluster recently, so I've been using the SEVENTEEN Skin Wow Primer & Highlighter to give a radiant glow under my foundation. For base, I've been loving the YSL Le Teint Touché Eclat Foundation. It's leaves the most beautiful healthy glow and feels amazing on the skin. If I'm having a particularly tired day, I'll go in with the Soap & Glory Blur & Brighten Crayon (my fave concealer) under my eyes to brighten and make me look more awake. I don't always do a full contour, as who has time for that everyday really? HI KIM K! However, I do like to add a bit of definition to my face with a slight highlight and contour, and for that I've been opting for the newest addition to my stash; the NYX Highlight & Contour Pro Palette. It's wonderfully pigmented and blends like a dream. The highlight shade is absolutely stunning, too. One of my all time favourite blushes, the Bourjois Cream Blush in 04 Sweet Cherry has made it's way back into my everyday makeup bag. It's great for Spring as it leaves a healthy flush of colour without going overboard. If I need a little extra coverage or to mattify any areas, I've been using the Jerome Alexander Magic Minerals Powder. This is one I haven't read much about, but I really like it. My Mam actually gave me it as she swears by it and she had a spare one. I used it once and was blown away by how it works. The colours in it means it colour corrects in all the right places, whilst adding a little extra coverage and mattifying without looking cakey.

For eyes, I've been going simple with the Kiko Longlasting Eyeshadow Stick in 07 Golden Beige, then blending it with the lightest contour shade from the NYX Palette through the crease. If I'm feeling it I'll also line with the Soap & Glory Supercat Eyeliner. My favourite mascara of the moment has gotta be the Maybelline Lash Sensational. It does everything I want it to; lengthens, separates and adds volume. On the brows, I've recently rediscovered the SEVENTEEN Brow's That! eyebrow kit. It contains a little pencil, a brown wax, a brown shadow and a highlight. It's a fab little kit that is the perfect shade for my brows.

On the lips, I've been loving pinks for Spring. I've been opting for MAC Creme Cup, a classic pale pink, or the Revlon Matte Balm in Elusive, which is a cool, blue toned pink and great for everyday.

  2. Nice collection.

I was smiling all day yesterday due to the sun being out. It really does make a difference.

Generally, my make up is light unless I am going to a special event. I wear powder foundation, concealer and mascara day to day. On weekends I add blusher and eye pencil.
