Trialling Some Sk:ncare

Recently I've been trialling some skincare from the brand Sk:n. They were very kind enough to send me a couple of products to review, and I already had another in my stash, so I thought I'd use them all together.

Sk:n Vitamin Rich Cleanser for Dry or Sensitive Skin*- sk:n Vitamin-Rich Cleanser for dry or sensitive skin is fortified with age fighting vitamins and antioxidants to gently remove make-up and impurities. The skin is left feeling cleansed and purified and in perfect condition for further skincare products.
I'll be honest, I've never been a fan of cream cleansers that you use with a cotton pad. I prefer my cleansing oils & face washes to get down and dirty with my makeup. I have been using it as a last step (in place of my micellar water) though and it does leave my skin feeling super soft and hydrated.

Sk:n Age Delaying Cream for Younger Skin* - sk:n Age-Delaying Cream for younger skin hydrates the skin and helps delay the initial signs of ageing. Clinically proven peptides target fine lines and loss of firmness, Vitamin A helps regulate cell turnover and anti-oxidants fight free radicals.
I've been using this as my day moisturiser every morning and I really like it. It's quite rich, which is perfect for my dry skin. Even though it's rich, it doesn't hang around and leave any greasy residue. It absorbs really quickly leaving my skin soft and smooth. Can't really comment on the age delaying properties though as I've only been using it for a couple of weeks. To be fair, I turned 28 last week. IT DIDN'T DELAY THAT DID IT? Nooooo.

Sk:n Repair & Protect Sunscreen SPF50 - As it's been Summer (if you can call it that) here in the UK, I was in the market for a facial SPF, as I don't like simply relying on SPF's in moisturisers and makeup. I'm sure I'll thank myself in 20 years for the extra step in my routine.  I actually think they only do an SPF30 version of this now, but I thought I'd include it anyway. I bought this a while back and I've been using it as a last step in my skincare routine (after moisturiser). I'll be honest, I'm not really a fan of this. I find it far too thick for a facial SPF and find it leaves my skin looking really greasy and shiny. Perhaps that's why they've changed it? Who knows. I'd be curious to test out the SPF30 to see if it's actually any different.

Have you tried any Sk:n products?
