Freedom Makeup Wishlist

So Freedom Makeup is now available at Superdrug, this is not a drill, I repeat, this is NOT A DRILL! If you didn't already know, Freedom is a pro 'sister' brand of Makeup Revolution, which is an absolutely amazing and unbelievably affordable brand available in Superdrug. I've been reading more and more about Freedom recently and it looks like they do some amazing dupes of high end products - I love a dupe me, and knowing they're made by the people of MUR, I just know they'll be great quality. I was really excited to find out they were now available online at Superdrug and slowly being filtered into stores across the UK. So much so that I've put together a cheeky little wishlist (let's be honest, I'm probably gonna make an order as soon as I've finished writing this to utilise Superdrug's current 3 for 2 offer, ha!).

Freedom Pro Contour Stick in Medium 01 - £5 | link
Freedom Pro Brow Pommade in Soft Brown - £5 | link
Freedom Pro Glow in Roar - £3.50 | link
Freedom Pro Correct Palette - £5 | link
Freedom Pro Melts in Up - £3 | link
Freedom Studio Solid Brush Bath - £7 | link
Freedom Studio Glow Tonic - £6 | link
Freedom Pro Studio Strobe Cream - £8 | link

Really excited to see that they do a dupe of the Pixi Glow Tonic (£18), definitely be trying that!!
Have you tried anything from Freedom yet?

Autumn Beauty Wishlist

Hellooo! Welcome to day 3 of #AutumnWeek (and officially the first day of Autumn). Today I'm sharing my Autumn Beauty Wishlist. Basically all the products I'm hankering after lately! Hey, a girl can dream!

Clinique Beyond Perfecting 2-in-1 Foundation and Concealer - I tried a sample of this from a magazine a couple of months back and oh em geee! I fell in love and need the full size pronto! It's full coverage but leaves such a gorgeous, dewy finish and blends with ease even though it's fairly thick.

Zoeva Rose Golden Brush Set - Having never tried any Zoeva brushes before, this set has been on my wishlist since they were first released. I've heard they are absolutely amazing quality and they're so pretty to look at!

theBalm Mary Lou Manizer - I feel like I'm the only girl in the world who doesn't own this highlighter!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade - Because who doesn't to up their brow game? I seriously haven't read a bad review about this product so naturally, it slipped and fell onto my wishlist!

MAC Rebel Lipstick - Every time I buy a MAC lipstick, the hunt starts for the next one. I've been eyeing up swatches of this online and it looks like the perfect Autumn shade.

Garnier Miracle Sleeping Cream - As the cold weather hits, my dry skin starts to suffer, so I'm already on the look out for new skincare. I've heard this is a dupe for The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask, but since that's £24 and Garnier's offering is only £12.99... well we all know which one I'm gonna go for!

Essie Bordeaux Nail Polish - A deep, red wine shade. Everyone needs one of those for Autumn. Plus Essie's formulas are second to none!

Makeup Revolution New-Trals vs Neutrals Palette - Just because I absolutely adore Makeup Revolution (quality products at ridiculous prices). This palette contains some stunning shades and think it woud be perfect for the upcoming season.

Skincare Wishlist

I've really got into skincare again recently and find my skin has finally settled down after having a major breakdown at the end of my pregnancy. I'm constantly on the browse for new products aimed at dry/sensitive skin and I've compiled a pretty substantial list of everything I wanna try. Clearly NEVER gonna get all of these as some of them are pretty pricey, but a girl can want!

Cleansers
I'm a massive lover of oily/balm like cleansers, but due to the residue they can leave on the skin, I've come to realise that 2nd cleansing is the way to go. I'm wanting some gentle cleansers to remove any oily residue but also soothe my sensitive skin and add a bit of hydration.

Exfoliators
Exfoliating is essential for dry skin that's looking a bit lackluster, but if you have dry/sensitive skin like me, you've gotta be picky on the type of exfoliator you use, unless you want angry red skin after your pamper sesh! Gentle exfoliators that add a bit of radiance are my weapon of choice and I've got my eye on a few at the moment.

Face Masks
Nothing says pamper night better than a face mask and a long, hot bath. I have a lot of blemish fighting masks, but none that really hydrate and plump, which is what my skin needs more, so I've got my eye on these 3, which I think will do just that.

Toners
A product I never used to bother with, but something I now find I notice if I've skipped. I find they are great at removing any last trace of cleansing and really make my skin feel clean. I like exfoliating toners as they are great for dry skin, but I wouldn't use one every day as my skin is sensitive so I think maybe switching up with a hydrating toner every other day is the way to go. I know my Mam uses the Clarins one I've listed below and I've had a few tries of it and it really is lovely.
Something my skin could 100% not do without. I absolutely HAVE to include an oil and a serum into my everyday skincare routines. I find mornings are great for a facial oil and evenings are great for a serum that includes Hyaraluronic Acid to inject some much needed moisture whilst I sleep. (Hyaluronic acid helps to retain over a 1000 times its weight in water within the cells of skin, making it an excellent moisturizer). I've got a list as long as my arm of the products I wanna try, but I've narrowed them down to 3.

Moisturisers
Obviously an essential part of skincare. I've lost count of the amount of moisturisers I've tried over the years in the search for the 'perfect one'. I've found some I've really liked, but I always find more to add to my ever growing wishlist in my head. I got a sample of The Body Shop's Nutriganics one last week at their Blogger's Event and I really like it and find my makeup sits really well with it, so definitely gona have to go and get the full size very soon.
I've really got into this extra step lately. I actually spoke of my love for leave on overnight masks (here), but since trying a sample of The Body Shop Drops Of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask I honestly can't wait to run out and get the full size. The little sample pot I got has lasted me a week so far and the difference in my skin is unbelievable. It feels so smooth and really does feel 'bouncy'. I've also got my eye on this multipurpose cream that has become such a cult product on Pinterest I need to see what the fuss is all about.

Wow. Think that would actually break the bank!

What's on my Christmas List: 2014

Christmas Wishlist 2014: kateemmaloves

Christmas is coming and I can't bloomin' wait!!! I just love Christmas and everything about it, although to be honest I love the build up just as much, even more so now I've got kids. I always have a list as long as my arm for Christmas, probably because as we're currently living on one income with me being a stay at home Mum (not forever), we never allow ourselves to treat ourselves, so come Christmas I'm like AHHH I WANT ALL THE STUFF haha! Obviously I'm not saying I'm gonna get all of this, as I want to make Christmas more about the children than myself, but I'm wishing for a few things that I wouldn't buy myself normally (a few of which I know I've already got put away ;-) - bonus).

First up is the book that seems to be everywhere at the moment! Pretty Honest by Sali Hughes is currently the #1 Best Seller in Beauty on Amazon, and has had rave reviews by some of the top beauty bloggers, so I'd love to give this a read! Being a tea lover, I thought it was about time I got a special new mug, and I fell in love with this one after I seen it on Kate from gh0stparties' video a while back. I love the pink and gold together and I love anything with my initial on! I've got a love for highlighters at the moment, as I think it just finishes off a makeup look perfectly. I've heard so many great things about MAC's Soft & Gentle Mineralize Skin Finish that it just had to be added to the list! After getting the Canon eos 600d for my Birthday in August, I've been keen to improve my photography skills. After researching and seeking advice from photographer friends, I've found that the EF 50mm f/1.8 II lens would suit my needs perfectly. I don't really have a really pretty watch, and all the ones I own are just battered now. I keep seeing Olivia Burton Watches on Instagram etc and absolutely love them. They're so pretty and classic, and the Big Dial Rose Gold Watch looks right up my street! Still being a child at heart, and having played The Sims since I was at school, I've been dying to get my grubby little mitts on The Sims 4 for PC so that had to have a place on my Christmas list. Lastly is another initial related item. I've spotted these large clutch bags from Alphabet Bags on various YouTube videos and blogs and think they look so cute.

So that's it for my Christmas list. Thanks Santaaaa!!

What are you wishing for this year?

Maternity Fashion Wishlist

Well, think it's finally time I get myself some proper maternity clothes. I'm living in leggings at the moment as my jeans all dig in and are far too uncomfortable. I'm thinking if I buy myself a good couple of pairs of maternity jeans they'll last me through the winter until baby arrives in late Feb. I didn't have this problem last time as I was pregnant during the summer, so I just lived in floaty dresses and elasticated waist shorts. Anyway, I've had a little browse of the web to see what I could find...

Maternity Polka Dot Top - £10 - George at Asda

I'll probably do a Christmas edition next, for party dress ideas etc, as I'll be pretty much a whale by then! ha!

Skincare Wishlist #1

I'm constantly changing my skincare routine as there are so many things I want to get round to trying, and as my skin is quite sensitive it often decides to freak out (at the moment, for instance, it's decided that it doesn't like one of the products I'm using and is behaving quite naughtily with dry patches and a few cheeky blemishes). So I think I'm going to have to switch things up a bit to see which is the culprit. This got me browsing the web for skincare, and thus created a wishlist. Hey ho.

Wishlist | March 2014

Doesn't hurt to wish does it...

Wishlist | March 2014 | raspberrycheeks

Topshop Joni Jeans. £36 - I've had my eye on the Joni's for a while and think they would be perfect for me. I live in Leigh's at the moment but these are super high waisted so can be dressed up or down and hide a multitude of sins! Yes please!
ASOS Cropped Cami Top. £8 - I know it will be a while until we can leave the house in summery tops, but it's nice to wish. I've been steering clear of tops like this since having my baby, but I think with a pair of high waisted numbers this will look lovely.
The Body Shop Vitamin E Overnight Serum-in-Oil. £12 - After using the much adored Vitamin E Facial Oil and LOVING it (review here), this cheeky monkey was released & I'm desperate to try it!
Escentric Molecules: Molecule 01. £65.50 per 100ml (Unisex) - I know this is something that I would never just randomly get for myself as it's not the cheapest of perfumes, but I just had to include it as I've heard so much about it! Apparently it works with your own body and smells different on everyone! The reviews of this perfume make it sound too good to be true so I'm dying to give it a try! I know a lot of bloggers/youtubers are loving this at the moment. See what Ruth Crilly has to say here.
LUSH Creamy Candy Bubble Bar. £2.50 - I love LUSH but I'm yet to try their bubble bars. I don't know why, as I love baths, and adore loads of bubbles. The Creamy Candy is supposed to smell the same as the Rock Star Soap (which I ADORE), and gives added moisturisation. It sounds lovely and looks really cute so think I'll be picking one up next time I'm in town.
Topshop GLOW Highlighter in Polish. £9 - I'm a sucker for a good highlighter, especially a cream one. I've swatched this a few times in Topshop but ended up putting it down and telling myself I don't really need it. How disciplined? Or depressing as I can't afford to just keep buying things for the sake of it? Hmmm. I have read lots of good reviews on this and it looks so pretty which is why it has made the cut this month!

What will you be wishing for this month?

Nuxe Spring Wishlist

Nuxe Spring Wishlist / raspberrycheeks

If the Winter and it's awful weather isn't depressing enough, it also wreaks havoc on our skin.  My skin is looking seriously lacklustre and in need of a good bit of sunshine, not to mention a full detox and pamper session.

Nuxe Paris, a famous French skincare brand, are offering us bloggers a chance to win a fabulous Nuxe #pamperhamper worth £250. If you fancy getting involved, you can find out more here. I've picked out my top 5 products from the website that I think would be perfect to help my skin get ready for Spring! Bring it ONNNN I say!

1. Nuxe Reve De Miel Face & Body Ultra Rich Cleansing Gel. (£18 per 400ml)
This gel is suitable for Dry/Sensitive skin - which is perfect for my skin, especially at this time of year. I love that it can be used for both face and body, as I've gotta be honest, I'm sometimes lazy when it comes to taking care of any dry patches on my body!

2. Nuxe Sérum Crème Fraîche de Beauté. (£27 per 30ml)
I love a good serum and this looks like a great match for me. Suitable for all sensitive skins, it promises to moisturise and sooth the skin for 24hours. Fantastique!

3. Nuxe Clarifying Creme-Mask with Rose Petals. (£18.50 per 50ml)
Ooooh this does look right up my street! A soft cream that purifies the skin and smells of roses? Winner!

4. Nuxe Rêve de Miel Ultra-Comfortable Day Cream. (£23 per 50ml)
This nourishing day cream claims to nourish, replenish, soothe, repair and protect the skin from external factors. Sound awesome? My skin struggles with tightness and dryness, not to mention it's ultra sensitive. I need this in my life!

5. Nuxe Rêve de Miel Ultra-Nourishing Lip Balm. (£9.50 per 15ml)
Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about! This bestselling lip balm has been on my wishlist for so long. Why I don't own it yet is actually puzzling me! I've heard so many good things about it's ability to completely repair the lips overnight and leave them soft and supple. Apparently one is sold every 28 seconds! Yes please!

You have until 10th March to get your entries in! Good luck Nuxers!!
